Saturday night Peggy and I hosted a total of 13 people for dinner at The Fort, a wonderful (and expensive) restaurant near Denver, in celebration of my retirement. It had been originally scheduled a month earlier, but I changed it to March 8 so everyone could show up.

Someone in the party told the waitress that the next day was my birthday, and the next thing I knew the wait staff came out with a buffalo headdress for me to wear while the staff and patrons gave three cheers. The picture is posted on The Fort's web site:
