the German thread was a hiding place for talk about sports!
and food, and any other serious non word post...

but it started as a joke.. when some one had mis-posted, or started a non word thread, it was suggested "that sort of thing should be posted in the Words from German thread"--only for the longest time, anything you posted there, didn't show up! -it got lost in some sort of cyber never never land.

the thread was broken(it had the wrong settings) so it was an in house way to tell someone this way to the egress as it were!

but then the german thread got 'fixed' -- but it still remains the place for off topic discussions.
