I know your question was directed to Bean but as a citizen of Canadia myself, I can't help but shoot a comment your way: "EN-velope" pronounced as a verb is most assuredly not a typical Canadian English-ism. In fact, I'd go so far as to say it's a verbal anomaly. There's my two bits ... cha-ching!
