OP Just now I made a post, telling Keiva, aka Rosten that I thought it
the height of insolence to ask Wordsmith to help him, after he had
hinted he would sue Wordsmith, and so obtaining an undeserved
re-instatement.
Imagine my surprise, on checking my dictionary to be told there
no such word. Same with online dictionary. I have used that word
for over sixty years, and am baffled not to find it in dictionary.
Another ancient defintion of insolence: To pee through someone's
front door keyhole, and then ring bell and ask how far it went..
PS typo in first draft corrected per PM from Jmh, whom I thank
for helping me avoid diminishing impact of the post.
