The address doesn't show on my computer unless I position my cursor over the edit or reply button and as soon as I move the cursor, it disappears and I can't cut and paste so I usually cut and paste a previously posted link and change the necessary info

thats interesting! what browser are you using?
most browsers will have an address window that you can click on, (highlight) and copy/paste.

to get to the exact post, you need all the info, thread number, (page # reply #, etc..) all that stuff that makes the screen go wide!

check your settings, and see if what is selected or not.
Setting (or Preferences) will usually can be found in a menu drop down.

have you tried clicking on edit to see if the full address pops into the address window?
