OP In today's Melbourne Age there's an obituary for American lexicographer Frederic Cassidy who "specialised in finding the most exotic words and phrases, and delighted in strange expressions rarely found in orthodox dictionaries." Two favourites were 'honeyfuggle', a Kentucky word for flattering sweet talk, and 'flang dang', a Texan description of a loud party with music." Just thought y'all would like to be reminded of them.
