This doesn’t have much to do with words, except that I--like everybody else--get too many of them in the form of spam

To deal with this my IT son put me onto a Windows Outlook function called “Ways to Organize Drafts,” which permits one to specify correspondents whose email is to be shunted to another folder, eg, Norton Antispam instead of Inbox. However, this algorithm isn’t of much use because the spammer changes his name at each mailing

So to deal with this my expert offspring located an algorithm called “PeopleOkToSendToMe”, which he duly installed in my Contacts folder and in which we listed all of my usu correspondents. One would suppose this move would shunt all spam to some other unspecified folder, while allowing only legitimate correspondents to appear in my Inbox. However, it doesn’t work, it doesn’t seem to do anything at all, and he doesn’t know why

The Windows Help program was of no Help at all because apparently it doesn’t even recognize PeopleOkToSendToMe. So I am at an impasse

Has anyone used this algorithm and if so (1) How do you activate it and (2) how do you tell it where to route the spam
