In the mid-to-late 1940s, every Sunday afternoon, I sat by the radio and listened to a program with John Charles Thomas. What a singer! And great diction, too. Loved his program. I heard the Green Dragon song once ... and all these years I remembered the phrase "the king was a wicked old thing, with manners most alarming."

Don't know if Holloway sang it as a guest artist ... unlikely as those were the WWII Years.
