OP I was browsing through Noman W. Schur's book "2000 Most Challenging and Obscure Words" and came across a word attributed to writer H. L. Mencken that describes many AWADers quite well as many of us seem to be avid readers. It is : bibliobibulous meaning "one who gets drunk on books."
Now how can we make a word meaning "one who gets drunk on words?" Could end up our battle cry!
