When you spend a lot of time at the bottom of the heap [like me], you think less of the top.

all in together now for a rousing chorus of "no body loves me, everybody hates me, guess i'll eat some worms!"

you are defining top and bottom, putting yourself on bottom, and then lamenting you are there..

you need to change your perspective.
what make top or bottom here?
once you register, you can make posts. You are an equal.
if you make a lot of posts (all under one registered name) you will have your title change. this is done automatically by the software. it is a count. you could post (and piss off everyone at once), post after post with a single word. after a few hundered of them, you'd be a carpel tunnel .
who cares? (umm, i think you do. well that your problem. excuse me if i don't really care!)

what is important here to most of us! is the quality of the post, not the quantity.
You control the quality of your posts! if you only want to moan and groan, and complain, 'Gee, i am not a carpel tunnul yet, and no one respects me--well guess what.. no one will respect you when you do get to be a carpel tunnel! you have (so you obviously can) made good quality posts about words, the uses, the history, the etemology, the semantics of a specific word. continue to do that, and you'll have everyone respect.
continue this silliness that others are more respected than you are (because of silliness like a simple count of their posts!) when in truth respect is earned by making considerate posts, and you'll never be respected.
you can be a respectable gnat- it might not come gnaturaly.. but then your not really a gnat, are you?

Now, Dollop is an intersting word..
Doesn't seem always to be paired with schlag? --i have a dollop of schlag on the pudding, please.

a dollop is a generous amount... more than spoonful, but less than a serving.. i am almost certain in the dawn of time, we had a discussion about dollop (or was it about some other quanity, like dab? and dollops snuck in? no matter. i can bearly remember the thread..

so do you dollop (freshly whipped cream!)
or do you dollop (artifical frozen whipped topping glop--Ugh!)
or do you squirt (canned whipped cream)

or do you prefer naked pudding and pie?

or something in between? what is a serving of cream called if not a dollop?
