OP here's someone else who evidently fell for the zzxjoanw "hoax" (see last link, below):

(from an amazon review) [should you get this combination of letters (with a blank), a one in a googol chance, it could be successfully challenged anywhere in Known Space.]
the author, Peter Bowler, should have known better, as he is evidently an aussie.
