I received this in an e-mail and thought of Sparteye's delight in finding unusual name combinations in the weddings and engagements pages of her local newspaper.
Butts and McCracken Busch and Graber Aiken and Johnson Fears and Johnson Pullen and Wood Wacker and Daily King and Woody Fillinger and Goode MacDonald and Berger Wendt and Adaway Filler and Quick Dunnam and Favors Drinkwine and Layer Gowen and Geter Peters and Rising Kuntz and Dick No gutter police! Oh, wait, did I volunteer for that job? Ooops!
Anyone have any to add?

If Wanda Landowska married Howard Hughes, and then divorced him and married Henry Kissinger, would she be Wanda Hughes Kissinger now ?

How about:
Bread and Butter? Gunn and Pistol? Beard and Barber? Caulie and Flower? Girls and Girls? Bump and Dent?
On a slightly different note:
Between February 15 and April 15, 1931, Judge J.C. Davis of Dillon County, South Carolina married the following couples:
Ransome Blue to Elizabeth Redd Russian White to Mary Ann Black Nathaniel Green to Amanda Brown Solomon Gray to Josephine Orange Navy Blue to Aurelia Chocolate (Blue-Chocolate.. heh) Josephus Drab to Blanche Walnut Willie Lemon to Juanita Tann
And then there are the people whose names change for the delightfully better when they get married:
In 1938, Miss Birdie Snyder married C. Canary and became Birdie Canary.
In 1949, Bob Wager of Saint Augustine, Florida, married Bet Dooley! (she became Bet Wager)
Shirley Kinter married Robert Shirley, in Iowa City, Iowa. (Shirley Shirley)
Miss Birch married Mr. Oaks! The ceremony was performed by the Reverend Maples. The couple left for Hickory, North Carolina, then boarded with Mrs. Forest on Elm Street.
(note: all are from my Ripley's Believe It Or Not! Encyclopedia of the Bizarre)
I wonder.. are name threads allowed here? If so, I've got a bunch in this book.. if not, it's all good.
Edited to add : As for wofa's variants, I used to have a bunch of those, but have now forgotten what they were.

I could have sworn I posted this before, but I did searches and got nothing.
Carmen Miranda is marrying Yves Montand. In a ceremony thaat merges their two cultures, after the vows are exchanged, she will let down her hair and comb it with a comb of solid gold that is a weddig gift from her new mother-in-law. "She'll be Carmen Miranda Montand when she combs."
Dammit, I KNOW I posted this before. Because Jackie came back with a pun about the six white horses. Why can't I find it???

Ted, I remember your post, too. And I can't find it, either, though I've tried every Search I can think of. At first I thought maybe the Search function only went back through a limited period of time, but then I found:

Reminds me of this lovely lady I dated in college. Her name was Carmen Cohen. Her mum called her Carmen and her father called her Cohen. Sometimes she didn't know if she was Carmen or Cohen. This was using Search on Carmen. I'm gonna keep tryin'--this kind of thing drives me crazy! The only sure way to find it would be to go through all your old posts, and sorry, 'tain't worth it to me! :-)
