OP A glossary of Oz thieves cant. I never heard of any of the terms before.

Nice one Bill.
Only familiar thing is "sop" for a bribe.
We used to give toddler a sop (bribe) to stop cryingg. i.e. a bit of milk-soaked bread while awaiting a bottle.
Very interesting Bill. I wonder how many of those terms are still in use. Theives (like teenagers) tend to change terms when most of the people finally understand what they are saying - when the code has been broken, so to speak.
