Oh, you're just taking those to Sydney? No problem. It's a short flight.

Sweet WO'N, just a guess, but if he was flying Qantas (ooh, I had to MAKE myself omit the u!), perhaps this headline has something to do with how he got through: Qantas workplace relations reach boiling point The article wasn't specific on security, but apparently the whole place is in something of an uproar.

I don't know what you're complaining about WO'N. They checked the wood for dangerous insects which could damage the country's agriculture and made sure that he didn't accidentally set fire to the plane.

So he could bludgeon the staff to death. Whaddya want? Portholes in your coffin? Brass handles?

The idiot also known as Capfka ...

I see it was in the Sun "newspaper" , so I wouldnt take it too seriously it wont be an accurate account . I wouldnt wipe my arse with the Sun, it represents the absolute worst of British tabloid journalism, which as a Liverpool FC fan I know only too well, some of the things they printed after the Hillsborough disaster were just disgusting.

I hear you, Dunc. I remember those articles and I was horrified at the insensitivity. There are bad eggs at Anfield (I've stood on the kop a few times and seen and heard them) but there are everywhere in footie. The majority of supporters are thick and fast true blues (or reds). Hillsborough brought out the best in the LFC supporters and the gutter press jumped on what they thought was yet another football riot and they were wrong.

I've never had time for the Sun or any of its parallel press. Funny stories or otherwise.

Good win on Sunday, btw! The title's still up for grabs

The Kop is the name given to the part of Anfield stadium in Liverpool where the die hard Liverpool fans stood. It is situated behind one of the goals.

After the Hillsborough disaster the subsequent national inquiry ordered that all major stadia install all-seater stands. The result reduced the capacity of the kop by about half but also prevented potential disasters. The fans still stand.

The Kop was named after the battle for Spion Kopje in the Boer war ( kopje is afrikaans for hill) in which around a thousand merseysiders died, one of my favourite memories of childhood is standing with my Grandad and singing "You'll never walk alone " at the top of my voice with 50,000 others ........magical.
