OP A couple of articles on the current state of Bahasa Indonesia appeared in yesterday's (Sunday's)Jakarta Post. Don't worry, you don't actually need to know Bahasa Indonesia to understand them. The Jakarta Post's site does not have a very good archiving system, so if you're interested I should look soon.
