Cross-threading a bit, here's a brief sheep dog story:
The yards at my friend's sheep station in northern Southland are busy during drafting (getting the sheep in and sorting them out for various reasons), and the dogs are used to drive the sheep from one pen in the yards to the next. One of his dogs, an almost pure white collie-cross, gets quite excited doing this, and quite often loses it and starts humping a sheep. My friend laconically comments that he's merely the ultimate sheep-dog ...
