I rarely see the need to use it on the board, but if I'm going to use such a word I'll use it in full rather than try to disguise it with asterisks. (Probably not word for word, but you get the drift.) In this forum, where we are either learning words or teaching words, most definitely *they* should not be used. (I really haven't fallen off the face of the earth, I just have to catch up with reading too many posts.)
