INFLAMMATORY

F ---- > C

..who knew is right! To quote one of the heredity dictionaries, Ukraine oblasts also have variants that are

MATRONYMICAL (meaning the feminizing suffices(?) of family names can be added at the end of the unpronounceable double-barreled names of the current generation PS: If this don't fly, thedouble-switches MATRIMONIALLY & MATRIMONIAL are others

Yeah, you know ..how the British have Lady Smith-Jones, for example ..

well, the e.g. I found for matronymical Ukrainian names were

Ivano-Frankivsk and (the matronymical) Ivano-Frankivshchyna ...I might get the Ivano- part right, but I'm not trying to pronounce the latter half ( I couldn't even TYPE it right the first time, much less say it)

ROY MACMARTIN

C ---- > U

..and maybe (like me, here) a straw-grasper, in seeking the

MAIN MORTUARY ..as far as dearly departed Roy's family tree goes,I wouldn't be surprised if Ben Affleck were quietly putting together a bio-pic to mark the 380th anniv. of Roy's birth

Yes, but we try to keep it to a single word.

yes, we do ..

and when a single word escapes, just tryin' to keep the boat afloat, the ball in the air ..

in the hope that finding something even remotely viable will enable someone to see yet another iteration to keep us going..

obviously, these were each a stretch, but offered humbly & in good faith ..

Does the sex change to PATRONYMICAL give us anything better to work with?
