Doc
I just wondered if you saw "gnarled", or is it my
confused mind?

I just saw your question, Luke ..

but it wasn't there when I replied to GLEANER ...???? Now it is; and I'm a few hours after your and the others' earlier entries... ???

Also, I noticed that he'd still get GLEANER out of GNARLED, but you're right ..looks as if there were 6 minutes between ..A puzzlement.

If you need my GLEANED yanked out of there, yank away!

No, I didn't see it at all; it may have been posted during the time I was composing and researching GLEANER. A delayed-action "not-quite-simulposting," as it were. But it does come from GNARLED too, via D->E, as posted above... blush

GLEANED

..and heavy stuff having transpired

LEADEN ..I gleaned a lot from this, esp. the Millet painting; at noon, I'm going to say the Angelus, thanks to '..doc'(and there's a millet grain of truth to that)

(Afterthought: Do you suppose the grain is called "millet" because that's what you do?)

LEADEN

E --> I

LEAD-IN

As in
A Limerick based upon Sweden:
I want to put "-ist" after "hedon-".
And you'll like the effects
(Though I don't mention "sex")
Only first it should have a good lead-in.
