Today (well, I guess it was yesterday) I had an organizational meeting for a Celebration of Life for a mutual friend with four women, and the only reason that the discussion was not five-ways equal is that two of the women had more information to impart than anyone else, and I had less. When I go to a bar (hey, my son's a bartender: it's my best chance to see him) it seems as though the women talk a bit more than the men, but the higher voices cut through the ambient din better than the lower ones.
