OP Hear ye, hear ye, gather round all you Hogwash workers I've got a conundrum to be solved.
But first
Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwyllllantysiliogogoch
Have you heard this one before.....
On a beautiful summer's day, two English tourists were driving through Wales.
At the town of, Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwyllllantysiliogogoch they stopped for lunch, and one of the tourists asked the very blonde waitress, “Before we order, I wonder if you could settle an argument for us… Can you pronounce where we are, very, very, very slowly?”
The girl leaned over and said, “Burrr.... Gurrr.... King.”
Well that's just a little joke, but it shows the importance of understanding the question before we can formulate an answer. But with this game, you are being asked to give meaning to a word, you may have never heard before. What could be easier?
Now you have entered, relax and read through these daffynitions. Hidden somewhere is the real meaning, but pay it no mind.....chose the one you like best and PM it to me. Points will be awarded and counted to find the winner. The winner is the one with the most points, not necessary the one who guesses correctly, in fact, I believe I get more points if you don't guess the real answer.
Enjoy.

K) ...a rudimentary Northern European pedestrian or hikers' shelter
L) WAGIMAN, n. A wandering traveler, a vagrant, a vagabond.
A big thank you to all who have entered....some regulars hogwash players, some new ones like Rob and me and also I believe, a regular contributor to UBB threads, but 1st time entering this game........and also a mystery player
nicely done!
K for me.
formerly known as etaoin...
I had to flip a coin to decide between the manatee and the fertility fetish!
J for me!
These are good. I'll try to apply a little more humour next time.
Hmmm, interesting and good looking. Bide my time.
>chose the one you like best and PM it to me.
I hope no one follows through on this directive, as the regulars know that guesses(!) are meant to be posted in the clear, so as to make manifest the futility of trying to ferret out the True Meaning.
C...G...J...K...
I have to reject C, appealing though it may be. I'm afraid the source of the appeal is the similarity to the jolly fella who once sat beside the billabong, under the shade of a coulibah tree...
Oh, Gee, I just know there's something fishy about this one!
“Burrr.... Gurrr.... King.” HA!
F is impressive; I'm votin' for that one.
I'll have an A eh!
