OP Hi. What's the word for using the same word, or words with the same root, multiple times within the same sentence or paragraph?
For instance, "Please let us know if you are receptive to receiving responses from your readers."
More recently, I saw this "I have amassed much experience ... that allowed me to amass a lot of software skills."

I've never heard of one. Repetition within the sentence is called repetition in rhetoric, and within a paragraph, conduplicatio. Most of the other rhetorical figures of repetition deal with the position within the clause of the word repeated (link).
[Addendum: I take it back, adnominatio is the repetition of a word in different forms (link).]
