Wait a minute. Let's go back to GROWNUP.

Change G to E and get UNPOWER.

It can be the obsolete Piers Plowman noun, or the verb for what you do when you remove the outboard motor from your boat...

...tried to change N to L and make "FLOWER'D" but onelook.com says no go.

Guess I'll have to settle for dropping the W to make
