I'm writing my Degree thesis and I have decided to focus it on "word of the
day/week" Web sites, and this one is one I've chosen.
That is why I need some information on how this website works.
this is what I need to understand:
Who chooses the word of the day(or the theme chosen) every day and with
which criterion. Are they related to any particular event?
- From where do you take the definitions (which particular dictionary)
Do you think it is just for mother toungue or for learners as well?

and the most important part:

why did YOU choose this web site instead of another one?which is the reason? what do you love about this feature(one word a day)and if you have any purpose...if you can, be detailed. I mean not just say....it's interesting, nice and stuff.....

thank you ver much!!!!!

"why to use this site?????"

To find like-minded company, for some reason pretty scarce at present. I use this one because it's the most liberal. From several other such sites I had been banned for not observing protocol. At WS Admin denies its own existence, maintaining that it has no protocol but tearing you to shreds if you violate it. Nonetheless your chance of survival is very good if you cultivate a tough hide

As for your questions I'm sure there's boilerplate of some sort although I haven't read it myself as I'm an iconoclast

Good luck on your thesis. What's it about? I am dalehileman@me.com

Perhaps it is because unciaciapanca copied and pasted the post into four (4) new topic threads. I responded to the one in "Information and Announcements" because that was the only one posted at the time. The others all showed up after my post. Now there are replies all over the place, and unciaciapance will have to go hunting to collect them all... :0)
