I’m glad I didn’t win – I’ve suffered enough and need no further penance. I am glad to have collected two invaluable points and I believe my hogwash point average has now risen to 0.071.
Worthless or precious, soon enough all will be coprolite.

okay, this is just a trial baloon, but here some recent numbers for votes collected (covering '07 to date, or the last ten(10) rounds; for those that have participated in a min. of five(5) rounds):

Aramis (7 rounds) 1.57 votes/per
ASp (10) 0.9
BranShea (8) 0.5
Faldage (10) 1.4
Jackie (8) 0.75
musick (5) 1.4
olly (7) 0.71
Owlbow (6) 1.0
shanks (5) 1.2
themilum (8) 1.0
tsuwm (9) 1.0
wofa (6) 1.16666666666...

in raw numbers, Faldage led the way with 14 votes, Aramis had 11, and ASp and tsuwm 9 each.

OED, et al, collected 19 votes over the 10 rounds.

there were only 6 outright "winners" over the 10 rounds;
they were BranShea, EC, Faldage, Jackie (a skunk), musick, tsuwm

for those that like getting things "right", shanks and BranShea led the way, each guessing three correctly.

[TEd, EC, consuelo, and belM fell just short of qualifying (5 entries).]

Yes,
stylite,thrapple,sabrage,enthymeme,dariole,squinch,tiddledies,willywha. It was very amusing.

That's 8 though for squinch I gave no entry, just a vote.
Amazing! I thought they had only been four. Trial balloon, flighty memory.

1.0 > 0.071. Thanks for the correction joe friday. Perhaps I was counting my lifetime average, or bad guessing. I like your value better.

at first glance I thought I had come up with an actual statistical anomaly with the 0.71 average, but that was for olly.
