Totally irrelevant: amongst owners of Alaskan Malamutes -- a strange breed if there ever was one (the owners, not the dogs) -- it is common to speak of our creatures as Mal-efactors, for reasons obvious to fellow Facilitators. >sigh<

I just looked for a picture of one that looks like ours, without success. She's either mostly Malamute or Husky; we don't know. But she's absolutely gorgeous, and absolutely crazy. While friendly towards most people (unless they're noisy), she considers it her purpose in life to exterminate every other furred or feathered creature she sees. Walking her in the park is embarrassing: at sight of another dog, she turns into Cujo.

I also couldn't help but notice, looking at all those images, that they (as does our dog) all look a lot like wolves.

Not being a fellow facilitator, I wonder how the term arose
