and I've said this many times. ~joe (maybe as many as 42) friday edit: yes, Adams claimed that 6x9 = 42[base 13] is just coincidence; but you gonna believe someone who's still dead?

6 x 9 using base 13 is coincidentally 42  Other quote: "I don't think so, Tim". With base ten 42 being 4 tens plus two, we should get base 13 42 as four thirteens plus two, equal to 54 base ten. How can two different base values be equal in two digits?
