I am honor-bound to give President Bush credit for my variant of this boast, but I think the President lost an opportunity to give Joe Louis credit for originating it. Joe Louis, the "Brown Bomber", is still a hero in his hometown of Detroit and Michigan is a swing state.  "The Brown Bomber - The Man Behind the Fist" Extract: Joe Louis' laconic style hid his wit. Plutarch's seen some tenacious overlords in his time, and he says there are none fiercer than these olicarps.
On the other hand, no-one who's ever tangled with Plutarch has ever survived to tell the tale. Plutarch wrote the book on all his battles. You may have heard of it: "Plutarch's Many Lives". They say he has more lives than a cat.
