You know you have to get the big waterguns, the ones the kids use to have water fights. The have a huge reservoir that you fill with water and you pump air in it and the water go a hell-of-a-distance. Nobody'll be able to get anywhere near you with their water-filled balloons. The water-pistols available in India in my youth were the weedy variety. I suspect that more powerful versions may now be available. But they won't help with the water-ballons in any case - you get bombed from a height - all the highrise apartment buildings in Bombay from which the attacks are launched...
