Hey Faldage...I know this is completely off topic but what do you get in the column on the right of that Bartleby page. I get a woman in a bikini with a caption "Single in Québec?" as an ad for a dating service.

Does everybody get that or do the ads tailor themselves to the addy of each server's location?

I'm toggling back and forth between a Wells-Fargo loan services ad and what looks like an ad for a job posting site. Go to the bartleby site and click reload.

Now I'm getting a Nokia cell phone ad, too.

Of course, the Saxon ham was also the basis of our word hamlet, meaning small village.

Has anyone ever heard or used the term "hamstrung"?

I might not use it regularly, but I certainly would understand it readily.
