An Auszie with too much time on his hands has come up with a fun way to allocate yourself a superhero name.

It's an automated variation upon the old first pet's name/current street name alias.

Whilst I find my superhero name somewhat less dashing than than I'd hoped, that of the Australian Prime Minister (John Howard) is a riot - "The Screaming Mongoose"!!

To reveal your secret identity go to http://www.flamingmongrel.net/names

Have fun

WAIL -- I can't get there: "page not found". I clicked direct, tried copying and pasting, and even tried searching for flamingmongrel and clicking on the item in the list there, but.

The Ethereal Collapso ... fits, I think. Ne'er mind, I love you anyway, Sweetheart.

From one Ethereal to another, I'm:

The Ethereal Wanderer

...and, Cap', your first name is nothing like mine...so this appears to be a relatively random process.

FYI...

Heard the guy who wrote this program being interviewed.

The prog uses two 'look up' tables, each with 100 names. It allocates a value to each of the letters in your two names, does some maths then picks the appropriate name from each table. Simple but fun!

junta wear?

Normal dress code is full military garb of a rank several notches higher than to which actually entitled by attainment prior to seizing of power. But don't let that constrain your imagination eta!

That would certainly attract some sartorial types!

photon: a unique massless particle that carries the electromagnetic force

At least I know I can accesorize...

Anna S, I looked you up under one of your many guises and you are The Blue Lithographer, another is The Painted Ghost, and your full pre-faldo name gives The Bold Speeder!! [I like it!] and you, Faldagio, under your real name are the Master Angel or one of your alter egos is The Drunken Conniption! Hmmmm. Faldage Nitpicker gives The Magnificent Savior...

Take your picks!
