Hello.

I've tried to find the meaning of the phrase "reading faithfully" but with no success. I ask because I'm trying to translate it into finnish and straight translation of the words is gibberish.

Does it mean reading without any critisim and just accepting what one reads as a truth (by faith)?

Or it could refer to a translation or an explanation, perhaps a clarification or interpretation - a '"faithful reading" of a text (such as, for example, the Constitution, or a Scripture), would explain a passage fully, without distortion, perhaps without judging
