OP Yeah, Bingley, I saw that...but I was lookin' fpr something more mysterious-sounding...fits the word better.
And a leap into absurdity: Ticulent whimsically suggests "the state of being tickled" or "that which tickles."
So a nocticulent, as opposed to a noctilucent, cloud would be one that tickles you in the middle of the night.
Please excuse the digression...
