I found a word that I just love: drumlins! 
The proposed catastrophic sheet floods, as wide as the drumlin fields, formed the drumlins and related streamlined landforms, such as flutings, over wide areas. Here's another geology glacier site, with diagrams of drumlins. Scroll down about halfway until you see caption "Drumlins" and then see "Diagrams 1 and 2..."
