well, I think we all have unique patterns of frequencies/harmonics and rhythms, so the songs that get stuck would be unique as well. that being said, there are undoubtedly certain similarities in people. especially people who find themselves drawn to certain people; there would be harmonically comfortable congruencies. e.g. when you meet a person for the first time, you might feel an immediate like or dislike; I think that is based(at least in part) upon our natural, individual harmonic series.
so the songs that stick in your head would be based upon your harmonics.
I for one, however, am drawn to songs in three, and six, and also odd numbered time signatures. many of the pieces I have written are in five, or seven, or nine. not quite sure what that says about me!
