A while back we had a thread about finding a term for those songs that get stuck in your head and you can't seem to get out. We did finally come up wiht a bonafide word for this condition, courtesy tsuwm I think. But I can't find the thread (Dr. Bill, can you ferret it out for us?).

Here is a new article about the top songs responsible for this condition. The piece also cites a German term for this: earworm. I like earworm, and I'm going to keep using it for this..."Don't mention that song, you'll give me earworm!"
