I love me, I am the best. The merry hell with all the rest.If I could clone myself a thousand
times, I'd take over this country. That would be aristarchy. Another good reason to ban cloning.

Arefy

Once had a neighbor who had a dog named Arfey...and she used to sing to him,
"What's it all about, Arfey?..."

What a wonderful, archaic sounding word. It always conjures up a picture of a figure, dimly seen through mists of incense, imposing, bearded, robed and mitred and carrying a heavy, elaborately decorated, staff. Should be worth a lot of points in a D&D game!

archimandrite

I have a distant relative who is an Archimandrite of the Greek Catholic Church, (a high bishop akin to the Cardinal of the Roman Catholics). He started out as a priest in a Carpatho-Russian congregation, St. John's in Perth Amboy, NJ. I always loved the sound of that word, archimandrite, and wondered about it's origin. Eastern Rite priests are allowed to marry, BTW.
