And then there is:
dipsomania

5ModL < Gr dipsa, thirst + 3MANIA6 an abnormal and insatiable craving for alcoholic drink
dip#so[ma4ni[ac# 73ak#8
n.
dip#so[ma[ni$a[cal 73m! nj4! k!l8
adj.
Would eudipsomania then be an abnormal and insatiable craving for normal drinking habits?
No, no, "eudipsomania" would be the normal insatiable craving for potables. You're describing dipsoeumania, of course.
Incidentally there's also the word "polydipsia," meaning too much drinking, part of the symptom complex that diabetics manifest when their blood sugars go out of control too high. And, by the way, it usually refers to the excessive consumption of plain old water. So there! :-)
(Incidentally, isn't "eudipsia" the answer to the question "Okay, here's the chicken wing, now where do I put the batter on it?" or maybe "Where do I go for a swim?")
