I hadn't heard about his death. I, too, am saddened, and agree completely with your sentiments.
I'm afraid that I have to be a closet Bee Gee's fan; my wife can't stand them, but when she's not around my boys ans I crank it up! they love, "Tragedy" and when they first heard it, they thought the lyric was "Packaninny"! so we still sing it that way sometimes!
I think I learned some of my countertenor skills from them, as well as other late 70's prog rock singers, least that's my story.
