today's wwftd is...
the worthless word for the day is: kedogenous
[inkhorn term] brought about by worry, or anxiety
(from Gr. kedos; care, anxiety, grief + -genous,
produced by)
This may be an inkhorn term, but perhaps regrettably so. I think it ought to be useful,
And offhand I can't think of a good synonym for it.
From tsuwm's site http://home.mn.rr.com/wwftd/
Inkhorn term doesn't mean it didn't make it. For a brief tour of the phenomenon, including some that made it and some interesting groups, some members of which made it and others which didn't, see Quinion:

I searched for "kedogenous" and found it in a site for writers, so it isn't totally dead.
There I found "gelogenic" = provoking laughter
