It's short, as word lists go, and I thought yorley might be interested. Some of the words indicate a direct link with English; others, not. I found a site which says that Captain Bligh made a second voyage to Tahiti, got more breadfruit plants, and delivered them to the Caribbean. Though they were indeed a valuable source of food, the slaves refused to eat them. But they are used today, though not a principal item of diet.
