I heard that apparently he was having problems avoiding Bush's Starwars missile defenve system - if he's not careful, he'd be either mistaken for a missile, or arrested and put in quarantine - the reindeer had to be kitted out with stealth technology! (Well, a near miss with missile defence would explain my rather squashed clementine...)
