the french word for typist is "dactylo"
i do not have enough french but i also understand that the word for spelling mistake in french is "orthographism" or something to that effect. does anyone have a clue as to what the root is there? is it the same as ortho = correct and straight and normal?

French verb spell = épeler. Spelling = épelent. orthographism "Not in dictionary".

erreur typographique = typographical error
