My great grandmother used to call us scallawags. It has been a long time since I have heard anyone use this term. I even had a book about a little dog called scallawag. Also heard it pronounced as scalliwag.
Also I coined a term when I was young: shredick. I used it to describe the way a paper bag looks when it has been filled with buttery popcorn. Sort of , well shredick.
