I had forgotten that Echo was a nymph who incurred anger of Hera, who decreed that
she would never again be able to speak, except to repeat someone else's words.
And she had hopeless infatuation with Narcissus, who is memorialized in "narcissism
because he fell in love with his own reflection, fell in and drowned.

As far as I know, Narcissus (or however it's written in English) did not drown. There are a few versions of this myth, but none says about drowning. Instead, Ovidius says, Narcissus after watching himself in the stream was so insensible for everything that he died. On the other hand, the Beotian version says tha he comitted siucide. And this is, I think, the most popular release.
That would be all for the sake of commentary, as we say in my country (to tell truth it sounds terribly in English :-/).
