Yes, in fact I DO waltz, just every 25 years or so, and not very well. Many thanks for the help -- actually, I think my kid has to present the word tonight, so you can desist unless you want to add more. I just get into these homework ideas to the point that my kids say, "let it gooooo, Mom, let it gooooooo," but my brain keeps whirling it around. What the hell is a blog (to blog?), anyway? I'm interested, really. Regarding dictionaries, this is an assignment for a college linguistics class. I'm guessing they just mean a regular, everyday dictionary, but I don't really know. Bernard Cribbens--that was too much of a stretch for him, but thanks anyway. I got excited about spamming, but she says that's in the dictionary already. I think he is going with "trashed" -- which I was amazed to hear is not in the dictionary (well, it's not in the dictionary he looked in). I liked "way" as the opposite of "no way" but he insisted that meaning is already in there, I'm not so sure. Thanks to all!

I believe that "blog" is short for "weblog" which is an online journal readable by the public. A blogger is one who writes in an online journal.
