We used to say this when I was about, oh, eleven years old, which would have been about 1952.
Has anybody else heard this expression (i.e., "tough panooch"), and, even better, does anyone know where the expression came from? [Or: to be a presciptivist: Does anyone know from where this expression came?]
Befuddled regards,
WordsWondering
I must challenge you on your math.
AnnaS:
You didn't realize I'm 63? Gosh, sorry for the confusion.
Best arithmetic,
WW
