In thinking about the teamwork of the pelicans, I was reminded of TV nature program
showing teamwork of two different species. A Mutt & Jeff combination of a coyote and
a badger descending on a prairie dog town, the badger flushing out the prairie dogs so
coyote could kill them. Is there a special word for such cooperation?

Dear Fiberbabe: I don't know what the experts might call it. It seemed to me to be more
active than most forms of symbiosis. For "synergy" my dictionary gives:
"combined or cooperative action or force " Run that up the flagpole and see if anybody salutes it.
