In a public restroom once I was confronted with a handwritten sign above the toilet: "To flush, please wiggle handel."
Underneath which advice I scrawled, "If I do, will it wiggle bach?"

...more?

wiggle bach

Loved this Anna!

In Welsh 'bach' means little - the colloquial expression for what the Ozzies call a dunny would be Ty Bach (literally, little house). I often imagine the confused discussion of Welsh musicologists when discussing Bach's family, given the local tendency to patronymics followed by diminutives

I've got to mention my all-time favourite graffiti, even if you've heard it before a million times (YART par excellence?) Sighted as I went through the subway leading to what was to be my place of 'higher' education:

To be is to do - Socrates

To do is to be - Sartre

Do be do be do - Sinatra

Still makes me giggle.

Yep, Shona, that's my all-time favorite too!!

Except I saw the first attributed to Camus. Which makes it all more contemporary, if you will (of course, your version has the alliterative feature the one I saw lacks).

To be honest, Auntie (ooooh almost Halloween..), when I originally saw the graffiti the first quote was attributed to Voltaire!

My research tells me that Socrates said it first and it was YARTed by Voltaire. But I haven't checked with tsuwm yet.

Nope! Though I think Anna should tell my/our story in Marty's "Intro to AWAD", and save me pipping shanks to the post by speaking for myself. I'm back on Board very possibly late Sunday, definitely Monday - shanks, you have been warned!
