I had occasion last year to communicate from New England to Merrie Olde, specifically to Royal Doulton, looking for some Winnie-the-Pooh favo(u)rs for a 90th birthday party (merely corroborative detail, intended to lend etc). They were quite accommodating in their reply, sent along a catalog of what was available, and prices, and indicated that my "local stockist should be able to assist further."
The meaning is clear, but I hadn't come across that particular usage before.
